we were born to create

Hello everyone! :) I came back and I found my inspiration. And this is a wonderful girl who creates an enchantment.Her name is Madeline Masarik <3 And she is truly talented photographer based in Florida,USA. I am very thankful that she agreed to take a part in my project "We are all made from stardust" As always I interviewed my mastermind. And you can also admire her art here. The inspiration is around!

- Hello lovely Madeline, I think that it will be right if you tell us a little bit about yourself. What was the most incredible thing what has happened to you and changed your life ?

I think the most incredible thing to happen to me would be beginning photography and becoming a part of the Flickr community. Through photography I've met so many amazing friends from all over the world. Taking photos has also allowed me to see this world in a whole new way. An abandoned house is no longer ugly, it's unique and has a story. A pile of rocks is not just a pile of rocks, it's a place where a mystical creature may thrive, and through photography we can make these stories come to life!

- What do you think about art in general. What do you feel when you create anything new one ?

I feel as though art is a way to express yourself in whichever way you want, whether it be through photography, writing, music, theatre, whatever method of expression you use can be your art. When I create a new piece of work that I'm truly proud of it makes me feel light and amazing inside.

- Are you ready for adult life ? And do you want to spend your life looking through the lens and shoot shoot and shoot ?

I'm not ready to grow up and I don't think I'll ever be. I think that even once I'm an adult I will always have my strong childish side. As in, the way of viewing the world as new and exciting wherever you go. I feel as you grow up people tend to loose such a sight and it saddens me. I never want that to happen. I would love to photograph for the rest of my life, whether it be my job or just a hobby. I hope that in keeping my art alive I will be able to keep my creativity and childishness whole.

- I always ask people to describe themselves, so in three words , do it for me :)

- Why did you choose a photography as your hobby ? And do you have another hobbies ?

Before photography I drew a lot but was never very good at it. I've always been interested in photography but came upon the conceptual Flickr community and was blown away by the art and creativity so I decided to try it for myself with a 365 project. I've been addicted ever since! Aside from photography I love reading books and creating films.

- What about your dream ? Just right where do you want to be ? And what do you want to do ?

I have so many dreams but mostly I just want to be happy. Whatever happens, as long as I'm happy doing it and as long as my loved ones are happy too that's just fine with me!

I want to travel the world as much as I can. For college I'd love to study linguistics and language which has always been a passion of mine. History, too. I love learning about people and cultures and the world and it would be amazing to be able to immerse myself in such a study.

- Tell about your equipments and camera? How do you think it is necessary to have an expensive camera for taking good pictures ?

I use a Canon T2i and Photoshop CS5. I do not personally believe that having a nice camera is anything. As long as you master what you have you can create whatever you want!

- What about your source of inspiration ? And who is your truly idol ?
You have one of the most beautiful account on Flickr as for me :) and you have lots of amazing photos and when at first I saw them, I opened my mouth and whispered "wow". What your favorite Flickr member ?

My source of inspiration comes from other Flickr photographers, my life, my friends and family, and my emotions. But as of right now, my biggest source of inspiration comes from Marat Safin on Flickr. His work is incredible and you must check it out !

- What's a motto of your life at this moment ?

Right now my life motto is probably along the lines of "just keep swimming" because honestly, my future is looking pretty bright right now and although it may be a lot of time and effort and work to reach my goals I know it will all be incredibly worth it.

- How do you see yourself in future ? And if we have a try to back in past and change anything , what it would be for you ?

In the future I see myself happy as can be with a family and some friends, preferably living by the beach with just such a relaxed lifestyle. I also would love to travel everywhere I possibly can, so hopefully there are a lot of planes in my future! As far as my past, I wouldn't change a thing. I'm so happy with where I am right now and everything that has led up to this that I'm afraid if I change one little thing the outcome may have been different!

- What do you think about "the true art created in solitude and sadness" do you agree? Do you agree that a human can create truly brilliant anything only when it feels itself lost ?

I fee true art can have any emotion. Sadness is indeed what a lot of people draw to but it's certainly not everything. A lot of times the inspiration for my photos comes out of feeling such love for someone or such happiness that you can't help but leak it into your art.

- Do you remember when you understand that you want to take pictures ? I just think that everyone felt this . It is a special sense, when you understand that your hobby is a part of being you.

Taking photos has definitely become a part of me and I can never imagine a life without it. I hardly even remember my life before it to be honest. What did I do to occupy my time back then? I really can't remember. I'll always hold photography very close to my heart.

the picture of her life

Hey there ! I move on and will never stop to find people who inspire me and give me high hopes for better.
I'm glad that few weeks ago I met on the web the incredibly lovely person who calls Alexandra Benetel.
And now i'm writing about my feelings and my emotions when i'm admiring her works.Just right I haven't words for describe something and so you can enjoy our little project. Few days ago i decided named it like "We're all made of stardust" I want to say thank you to Alex <3

Hi dear Alex! I’m really glad that you agreed to have a little project with me! So my first question for you:

1) What do you think about photography in general ? What the most difficult and successful in this hobby?

Photography is amazing. My favourite thing about it is that it marks a moment in time. I love creating worlds and being other characters in my photographs, but I also like looking back on a photo to reflect on what was going on in my life or the process it took to take it. Coming up with new and original ideas is probably one of the most difficult aspects of my area of photography, which is conceptual and fine art photography. You want to create something new whilst also making sure it has a significant meaning. The most rewarding aspect is hearing the positive feedback from the people that follow your work! I also love it when I finish editing my photo and it's turned out better than I could have imagined.

2) Tell me about yourself? What has changed from the moment when you started taking pictures?

Well, I'm a nineteen year old student from Sydney, Australia. I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary) and am currently in the middle of a 52 Weeks Project, which involves taking one photo every week for one year. My life has changed dramatically since pursuing photography as a full on hobby. I've been published in various magazines, the most well known being Russia's Harper's Bazaar and I've had the incredible opportunity of meeting fantastic and talented photographers online and recently in real life! If you told me all of that was going to happen when I first picked up a camera, I wouldn't have believed you.

3) Describe yourself in three words 5 years ago and in the present

I'm still a lot of those things I was 5 years ago but I've definitely changed! :)

4) What is your source of inspiration and motivation?

Everything around me inspires me. The environment, other people's stories, items in my house, people, my family, music, films and television. The list is endless. I'm motivated because I'm determined to finish my 52 Weeks Project! I've never undertaken a year long photography project. I'm really passionate about it and am exciting and nervous for it to end.

5) Tell me how you became popular among young photographers?

Haha, well I don't consider myself to be quite as popular as other people, but I have received more attention since starting my 52 Weeks Project. I've been on Flickr since 2009 so I've had quite a lot of time to message people, comment on their work and get to know them more. Since talking to more young photographers on other social media sites such as Facebook, it's really allowed me to share my work to both my new friends and people I look up to! Some of my greatest inspirations have seen my work and I'm just so incredibly grateful that some have become my closest friends as well.

6) Your pictures always have amazing tones, how do you think the quality of picture depends of a camera a lot?

Thank you very much. Well, I try to take my photo in a nice location with tones I can eventually work with in photoshop. The beauty is there in camera I just try to enhance it in photoshop. Sometimes I'll change the colours and add a few extra details that may not have existed in the original shot, but that's the beauty of photography - it allows you to create magical moments.

7) What was the craziest action in your life which changed you?

Probably travelling to America with my family for the second time and meeting all of my wonderful flickr friends in real life.

8) Tell about your project 52 weeks, something details? Do you always have ideas for each next photo or not?

My 52 Weeks Project is something I'm very passionate about. It has its ups and downs, as with any project but I don't find it as stressful as I might find a 365 project. In saying that, I make up for it by trying to come up with a bigger and better idea each week. I don't just want to take a simple photo and be done with it, I want to really think about the concept, find that personal meaning and try and execute it as best as I can. I don't always have an idea ready for each week, but I try to have something to work with. For instance, this week I left my photo until the last minute due to having so much uni work. I ran outside just as the light was about to disappear and worked with something I had thought up just as I was felling asleep the night before. This project has allowed me to experiment and develop my style further. I believe it's made me into a better artist.

9) What camera do you use?

I previously used a Nikon D90 but now I use a Nikon D600!

10) And the photography is your hobby or something more?

Photography is a hobby for the moment but it's growing into something more everyday. I'll never stop and I really want to bring it to another level in the future.

11) What plans do you have for the next few years?

I plan to take photos, finish my teaching degree and travel. I want to visit all of my photography friends and see what opportunities come my way.

12) What an advice would you give to beginner photographers?

My advice would be to just go out and take photos. Even if you think the idea is weird, just give it a go. Photography is all about taking chances and seeing what works for you. Try a project, don't try a project it's up to you. Don't be intimidated by other people's talent. They didn't blossom over night and neither will you so keep at it and don't be afraid to put yourself out there. Make sure to share your work to the world and connect with those who get you the most.

Today , I will tell you about Gina Vasquez

In this week I had a chance to have a conversation with this young and talented photographer. I really appreciate it
And i had a chance to ask her about her career , hobby and life ! "Photography is a mirror of a soul"
We live on different continents, but her talent overcomes miles.

- Tell about yourself ? Tell us a bit about your background and about yourself at the moment ?

My name is Gina Vasquez, and I am a nineteen year old photographer from New York City. I am currently in my first year of college at the Fashion Institute of Technology!

- What is your source of inspiration ? Who/what inspires you ?

I am inspired by so many things, especially music and poetry!

- What is a motto of your life ?
My life's motto is to treat others the way I would want to be treated.

- What is the most insane act in your life ?

All of the crazy adventures and friendships that have happened because of this amazing photography journey.

-Describe yourself in three words.

Determined, perfectionistic, creative.

- If you could go back in time and teach yourself something , what would it be?

To trust in God for all things.

- What camera do you use ? And what do you think about expensive cameras?

I use a Nikon D600! I believe that you don't necessarily need an expensive camera to make a great image - that depends on the photographer. However, as a photographer, having a good quality camera is really helpful!

- It is often said that "art is an effort to create, beside the real world, a more human world" do you agree ?

I do agree. Through art we can interpret and portray the world as we personally experience it, making others understand and feel emotions we want to get across. This is definitely one of my favorite aspects of creating art.
